Charlotte, NC-based singer/keyboard player Colby Dobbs first came to us to record lead vocals for some of the already-recorded tracks on this album. Colby and the band were so happy with the results, that the entire band returned to Old House to record four more songs for the record. "The Rustiest Nail" was recorded at Old House in Gastonia and mixed by the band's drummer/producer Dan Lawlor at his home studio.

Old House Studio began in a renovated farm house in Gastonia, NC in 1998. In 2012, Old House relocated to a 2,000 SF commercial facility in Charlotte, NC.
