The Black Hounds recorded their EP, "Shizz," at Old House Studio's original Gastonia, NC location in 2011. The four-piece rock band, made up of veterans of the Charlotte-area music scene, recorded the four original songs with engineer Chris Garges.

Old House Studio began in a renovated farm house in Gastonia, NC in 1998. In 2012, Old House relocated to a 2,000 SF commercial facility in Charlotte, NC.
