about

Saxophonist/composer John Alexander's 2011 solo album was recorded and mixed at Old House Studio's original Gastonia NC location with engineer Chris Garges, made possible in part by a grant from the The Arts and Science Council of Charlotte, NC. The album, entitled "Many Hands" (in thanks to the "many hands" that helped inspire and make the album), features some of the finest players in the Charlotte-area jazz scene. This song was inspired by "surfing the net at three in the morning."
