North Carolina's The Mood Kings is made of up a trio of longtime friends and bandmates that have reunited to write and perform original Americana/rock. The band recorded and mixed their first single, "Loretta," over a weekend at Old House Studio in Charlotte with engineer Chris Garges.

Old House Studio began in a renovated farm house in Gastonia, NC in 1998. In 2012, Old House relocated to a 2,000 SF commercial facility in Charlotte, NC.
