A sort of longtime Charlotte, NC "All Star" rock band, the Alternative Champs have a unique sense of humor. For their outrageous 2015 vinyl and digital release, "Feelings," the band chose Old House to record acoustic drums to use in conjunction with tracks recorded at the band members' home studios. The band then returned to Old House to mix the album with Chris Garges and Memphis-based producer/engineer Jeff Powell (Bob Dylan, BB King, Allman Brothers, Afghan Whigs, Jolene). Mixes were completed over the course of a week, with Powell mixing this hilarious track, "Jazz Hands."

Old House Studio began in a renovated farm house in Gastonia, NC in 1998. In 2012, Old House relocated to a 2,000 SF commercial facility in Charlotte, NC.
