Charlotte guitarist/vocalist Tom Billotto recorded his debut solo album at Old House Studio in February of 2014 with producer Jim Brock and engineer Chris Garges. "Early Clue" is an original composition and instrumental ode to guitarist Earl Klugh. The track was recorded live at Old House Studio with a stellar band of Charlotte all-stars. Percussion and synthesizer overdubs were added at Brock's Buddha View Studio, where the track was also mixed.

Old House Studio began in a renovated farm house in Gastonia, NC in 1998. In 2012, Old House relocated to a 2,000 SF commercial facility in Charlotte, NC.
