The swan song of North Carolina saxophonist and composer, the late John Alexander, a great friend of Old House Studio. His composition "Brothers" (in tribute to long-deceased Charlotte musicians John Wilhelm and George Shaw) opens the Charlotte Jazz Orchestra's 2018 album, "Giant Footsteps: The Big Band Music Of John Alexander."

Old House Studio began in a renovated farm house in Gastonia, NC in 1998. In 2012, Old House relocated to a 2,000 SF commercial facility in Charlotte, NC.
